What this format is
People use this to hide their home address before posting a map. The default cut is 400 metres from the start and from the end. Nothing is uploaded; the trimmed file downloads locally.
How to get the file
- From Garmin Connect
- 1. Export GPX or FIT, drop it here, then share the download — not the original.
- From Strava
- 1. Strava can hide maps itself, but a GPX you post elsewhere will still show the start. Trim first.
What is kept and what is lost
